CommVault Communication Problems between the Client , CommCel server and the Media Agent

Error type
Description: Waiting for the services on the client [ServertName] to come online.
Source: prdbaascom01, Process: JobManager

This usually happens when the client cannot communicate with the Commserv Server.


You can do the check readiness but it will give you an error as show below or restart the service.
  
A quick way to fix this is do as follow and if after doing this still does not work call Commvault support.
Right on the client from the CommCel console and select properties,/advanced  then click on Job Configuration Tab.

On the data Interface Pairs click add and select the CommServ from the drop down list  then click Next

Point the selected second computer to the CommCel server then click next to define the interface
Click Add, the system will automatically display the Ip address of the client and the commServ
